I just spent an hour in a 5v5 match and our team did lose but it was an HOUR!!! of gameplay Why is it that I only received 94 ip!!!! I get it it's a free game, millions of people play it But WHY DO I ONLY GET 94 IP!!!! Before lvl 20 intermaite bot games gave me 200ip but for some reason a 1HOUR 5v5 gives me less!!! I'M SO PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to be bitter and angry about this but, IT WAS A WHOLE HOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!! In one hour you can: -play one minecraft UHC

Since patch V1.0.0.111, the amount of Influence Points awarded for a given match depends on these rules: It increases linearly with the duration of the game.[1] For each Field of Justice there is a floor and cap for IP gained per match. Games longer than the cap or shorter than the floor grant the same IP as a game with length corresponding to the length of the cap. The floor does not apply to Co-op vs. AI games, the cap is not tested. On Summoner's Rift these lower and upper limits are at 25 minutes (76 IP for a win) and 55 minutes (145 IP for a win).[1] On Twisted Treeline the floor is at 20 minutes (64 IP for a win) and the cap is at 55 minutes (145 IP for a win). The precise limits for the Crystal Scar are not known, the floor seems to be 7 minutes, additional testing is needed. It was previously believed to be 20 minutes as surrender is available at 15 minutes similar to the Twisted Treeline. The cap is different on ranked games. IP boost grants 168 IP on ranked games on Summoner's Rift, so it appears the cap is 65 minutes for ranked games on Summoner's Rift. For a win, the reward is approximately 18 IP + 2.312 per minute IP.[1] For a loss, the reward is approximately 16 IP + 1.405 per minute IP.[1] An active Wins IP Boost gives you a flat amount of IP equivalent to the minimum IP you could get from a game matching the duration of the cap (for whichever game mode you are playing). A custom game has a penalty of 25%. Custom games only grant IP when teams are balanced. (example: 2vs2, NOT 2vs3) Co-op vs. AI and custom games have separate limit timers which reset daily, after 180 minutes for Co-op vs. AI and 120 minutes for custom games no IP is earned. Twisted Treeline in Co-op vs. AI does not have a limit timer. A win, in any game type except custom, will award the "First Win of the Day" bonus if available. This bonus is a fixed 150 IP which is not affected by boosts or penalties. When awarded, this bonus becomes unavailable for 22 hours. Co-op vs. AI matches have penalties depending on the summoner level and difficulty. A game shorter than 7 minutes does not grant any IP and as such also no first win of the day. This may also apply to regular games, but is unlikely to happen. The rule for minimum IP reward does not apply (a match shorter than 25 minutes will give less IP than a match of 25 minutes). The rule for maximum IP reward does apply.

tl;dr you gain IP faster from fast games, and the maximum IP you can get for any one game is 94 for a loss and 145 for a win.

I don't feel justified in having played a whole hour and not be rewarded for it...properly If you told someone " let's have an hour long battle and at the end you get 94-145 ip" No god damn sane person would play for an hour for 94-145 ip Would you play an hour of league for 94 ip?

... stfu m8, we do it all the time. And with the "low" ip gain, it feels like a reward when we get a new champion or something And with the 200 for the bots, you forgot win of the day which is 150 ip. You bascially got 50 ip without the WotD

Have ever had an hour long match? It's hell on earth. Everyone is lvl 18 One bad seemingly reasonable decision can turn into an instant death One single full team gank means hell for your fps AND IT SUCKS LOSING AND GETTING THE SAME IP as some league low life(people with normal lives) You could watch the half(and then some) of the greatest movie ever (One Piece: Movie Z) You could fap to urgot in an hour (cause it takes time to love something)

Why should you be rewarded as much for losing?

And as you said, this is a free game. We have a way to gain champs and runes for free, so why should riot make it easier to get these things? They need the income from the riot points to keep the game going, so why would they make it less attractive to just buy some riot points and get the champ(especially if it was on sale)?

Because a 1 hour match is an achievement. 1 hour straight of something is any achievement 1 hour(in one sitting) of anything is alot

But you were rewarded double the amount that someone who played the bear minimum game time(7-20 minuets) did(94 vs their 44). I have never felt that I was cheated(about ip) when I lost a 60+ game, so I have no idea why you feel this way.

lmao i acftually enjoyed reading this! especially the end!! one time in RANKED both teams were down nexus to nexus and it was over a hour game and guess ill much Lp we got for winning a game that shoulda been recorded n put in the books????

Can we go back and forth sharing stories So our bot and mid lane were being invaded but ashe went solo top for a solid 10 mins. In that time she took apart the whole lane!!! Not a single gank But in the time she did that both our inhibitors were down and one turret at our nesxus But kinderd teleported to assist As the enemy time was first attacking our nexus everything paused and the camera went to the enemy team's nexus...I almost cried.
