To be fair, it took me a very long time just to reach silver. I've lost count awhile back of how many trolls/toxic players I've had to report up unto this point, and to be honest, I'm afraid to find out.

ya it sucks to get trolls, but if you're good enough you can escape with a 70%+ win rate pretty easily, especially if you learn to be above the toxicity and stay positive. You'd be surprised how much that effects players

Most people who report "trolls" especially at the lower elos, are just reporting someone whom had a off game bg and tilted off the face of the earth.

That's great for those people. But when I'm either verbally assaulted, or someone intentionally feeds, due to their self proclaimed lack of care for the match, it gives me plenty of reason to report them, regardless of what lead to it. Think another common one at the time was how often they'd threaten to afk in the game, and often follow through with it.

if you're not good enough to be above bronze 4, and you don't like playing in that elo:

Watch a review, watch higher elo players, read guides, improve
If you don't want to improve, don't play ranked and don't complain about your rank

This is coming from a guy that has climbed from bronze 4 to gold gold 5 twice (I might actually try to get plat this season, depends on if I have free time and have the motivation to stop playing norms)

im honestly fine, ive beaten plat in 1v1 ive beaten gold in lane i havent beaten diamond. If i do fine in normals because im matched up with bronze to plat, by win i mean in lane and the whole map. I watch a lot of stuff also.. im sorry but you and who ever comments on this should alteast watch how i play and see for yourself. these tips "get gud", dont help. im pretty sure that i am better than bronze. Climbed out before but this season im paired with new new new players.

one v ones don't matter much
I've climbed from bronze 4 -> gold 5 easily the past 2 seasons, I know about climbing out of "elo hell"
winning lane doesn't mean much if you don't apply macro pressure, which is a common mistake (even for me, even as a jungle main)
I don't care how good you say you are or who you've beaten (they were probably messing around on champs they've never played before while high/drunk, that's how I've beaten diamond and a few master players lolz), if you are better than bronze 4 then you'd be climbing out of bronze 4, that's exactly how it works.

The problem is only your teammates if you leave it up to your teammates in the elo. Play better, gain lp

Doesn't matter all the good things you do. If you're still in Bronze 4, you must be doing something else bad. People can get stuck 1 or 2 Division below what they actually deserve, so maybe someone stuck in Bronze 1 should be in Silver 4 or something. But if you're in Bronze 4, you definitely belong in Bronze something.

I know it can be frustrating to bounce up and down, it happens to everybody at some point. But the first step to climb once and for all is owning your own mistakes, certainly not saying "I'm pretty sure I am better than Bronze" and blaming it on the system/your team/whatever.

have i tried climbing out, of course i have! if its my fault then i guess i make my team feed. i guess i make my team play like bots. i guess i guess i guess im every single person in the game even though its a team game!? is it my fault? I can dominate my lane and help out another lane but you know what they still feed. Is it my fault they feed? I guess it is because i am ever damn player in this damn game.

I read that post like 5000 times in the past 4 years. git gud is the only valid comment on this. There are enough tips to climb, if you can't manage to win then you have to improve. Being bad is not a thing to be ashamed over, but being ignorant over the fact that you're bad is.

Stop pointing your finger at your team, take a look in the mirror. You're doing many mistakes too, without even noticing it.

Trolls happen but the chance that the enemy team has a troll is greater, because you only have 4 potentional trolls while the enemy team has 5.

Keep playing and stop thinking negatively. Bad things have greater impact on your mind, so you should fill your mind with good things. Play a bot game when you log in. This way you don't have to stress yourself and in return will start the next ranked game with a better mindset.

Don't worry about your rank, worry about improving. Eventually you will actually get good enough that you can pretty much be the deciding factor in every close game. Not every game is winnable but the vast majority are so if you're stuck with a low win rate after a large sample size of games then the issue is with you because over a large sample size of games teams will even out and you're left with just your performance.

I'd recommend getting some coaching or watching high level players. Your basic fundamentals definitely could use some improvement (csing, positioning, etc) and its pretty clear that you aren't taking advantages of leads when you get them.
