My problem is always that when i want to save up IP for someone who costs like 4800 or 6300 i really really really when i get 3150 IP i want to buy someone who costs that much.I have no patience T.T This probably wont affect higher elo players though, since they probably have ever champ since Season 3 or something....ffs [zombie-nunu-bummed] P.S I have no idea what Board this should be in t.t
Same here. I own 39 champions, and only one of them above 3150 ip have I actually bought with IP.
You only get that feeling with champs? I envy you, runes have been making me pull my hair out every time I find out the next new champion might be something I would play.

Thats how i tended to run things before hex tech came out and then mystery champion shards brought a whole new level of gacha YAH'ness~.
after i bought Kindred and Jhin (still don't regret it since Kindred is still my favorite jungler+amongst the list of my top 10 favorite waifus on LoL and Jhin is just such a Dandyman its fun), i slowed down on doing purchases recklessly because the shifting meta can literally demand me to on top of skipping on buying runes unless it becomes a mandatory necessity to do so, i now need to stock pile and be ready when i need to buy a particular champion to have a viable enough roster to stand against the maximum cheese going on.
Though sadly i only own 25 champions and amongst them: Tristana, Garen, Udyr, and a few others feel like they get decimated on when the 'meta' gags get run over all over the place, even if im playing garen well in top, the bot and middle lanes get utterly decimated on my team. For Trist its a fact that her kit is highly un'workable since immobile yet super blast marksmen like Jhin are menances to everyone(Plus Trist's W doesnt exactly safety window herself from a ability like an Ashe's ultimate even when Trist is already 'in flight and about to land on the ground yet still somehow get hit from her original spot, nor does her kit contain much in the form of CC or powerful damage and her damage is only gonna thrive thru corpse bombing targets or rapid fire them down like crazy).
My 'technical' last champ i bought was cassiopeia and then before that i got champions like Renekton, Zed and Fizz thru shards. All i can suggest it might be better to take your chances on getting champions at half to even 1/4th of its original price thru shards, even if you have to prepare more shards for essence to perm them, especially when those same shards can be bought for 1700 ip and doesnt need to just be thru the chests cause of that.
