Items were locked to specific roles so that the current problem of tank ekko or tank fiora or tank yi ect. wouldnt happen? would it be over kill having a specific champion/role that couldnt build certain items killing diversity or would it help the everyone build tank situation thats going on. But then ofcoure youd have to classify which items would fit were and who could use them ect.

You have to remember that abilities scale off of either or both AP and AD in their own measurements, and just have their own gimmicks. However, I think it would be good if they started making certain buffs/debuffs less effective on certain Champions. Like for example, Master Yi is incredibly overpowered with MS and AS. Maybe they could make him scale less from Bonus MS and Bonus AS, but keep his MS and AS scalings otherwise. Something like that.
