Riot Ruined Support role for the last time
It is sad how riot has destroyed the support role and made this game unfun for the majority of players. I started playing riot around season 2 when it was hella fun and left around season 4-5 cuz life happened. I came back to this game approx 4 years ago and realized it was still awesome and as i started playing towards the end of a season i climbed to gold pretty easy before the season ended. Then the trouble began. The next season riot introduced the support killer AUTOFILL: now instead of getting a person that knows how to farm, poke, and position well, i instead get these terrible players that play with their feet and just smash their heads against the keyboard hoping to land kills, but still it was not all the time. Sometimes the Rito God's extedned a hand of blessing upon me and gave me an adc that knew how to adc but with the other hand smacked me up by giving me an autofilled mid and jungle. I struggled to climb but still made it to P2 but God forbid you get on a win streak the Rito Gods then give you 2 afkers in a row an inter and then after your tilted and have 2 more bad games your in MMR hell playing with Low Gold and silver players that are now autofilled adc role playing P2-P3 players. So I became hardstuck in Platinum and I just through to myself its ok at least the game is still fun. But that all changed Season 8. Not only did Rito screw over Support roles with autofill but now in season 8 the adc meta has changed to whatever you feel like playing. Aside from the yasuo, irelia adc's I now get Maokai, Mundo, Ahri (on hit), Brand (on hit), Teemo, Yorick, Lux, etc. That is so much fun having to know that right out of champ select game is over, but if i was so lucky enough that the enemy team was bad enough that I could carry the lane Rito said no no no summoner we can't allow you to have fun and now they have nerfed healing supports. So there goes my Soraka, Karma, Sona etc. So now I am forced to play more aggressive supports like Rakan, Bard Alistar which is fine game still fun but you try supporting as alistar when you have a maokai adc and you see how you get destroyed in lane. On top of all that you nerfed wards so that supports have no chance to protect themselves when adc's like that do dumb things. The game is over and it is so sad because I think the changes they will make for Season 9 will probably solve most of this but game is unbearable as it is now. I think I will just play until I am bronze 5 and delete the account. What do you guys think?
