No reward for marking, regarding kindred rework

As a kindred main for over a year, being my favorite champion lore and gameplay wise, I had a lot of fun over the course of a year. When I first saw the rework was coming I was filled with joy, hoping they will make kindred even better giving them lots of buffs, unfortunately I was very, VERY wrong. My main problem is how awful the new passive is. Before, if you had 12 marks you were a god among men, being able to shred basically anything in the game with little to no effort, while being semi tanky because of the way you built kindred. Now if you don't build the standard adc items (IE, Shiv, RFC etc) You are completely and utterly useless. Now if you have 12 marks, you get 125 more range, witch seems like it will be op as hell, but in practice feels extremely minuscule, the other ability buffs are also very very bad (only the q gets some impact from the marks), also you are extremely squishy because you have to build damage if you want to be at the border of usefulness. Kindred was always a feast or famine champ, kind of like what yasuo and riven are today, if you don't play them well most likely you will do awful, but if you invest some time into the champ, it is extremely rewarding and fun. Now if I have 12 marks I cant carry for shit, if I want a ranged adc I will take Caitlyn and play bot lane.

PS: Also e is an execute now even tho it was used for engage 80% of the time, so it deals shit for damage if you don't use it before the target is dead, so yeah. that's also amazing

The whole point of Kindreds creation was to add a ranged ADC to the jungle roster, though. You may not like it, but that's how it is. Kindred were a marksman from the beginning and they started to handle them that way. That's why they added the crit interaction in the kit, which is a theme many of redesigned marksmen share.

MF Q and ult are able to crit/mini crit. Quinn passive CD scales with crit chance. Jhin was designed with alot of crit interaction in general. Caitlyn has crit scaling in her passive, just like Xayah on her E.

And so on.

The point of a rework isn't to give a champ ''lots of buffs'' ... just saying

I feel your pain, i can't play kindred anymore. Attack speed means nothing without damage. And when they took away the percent health from "thier" pasive, it felt like kindred lost her essence of what made her special from other champs in league, it kinda made really really Sad, and slightly depressed. Kindred doesn't mean gleefull anymore; it means hard work and back breaking near death sinarious early game,. It means a lee sin, chogath, jax, kha ziggs, rengar, top, bot, mid warding scutler so that they can deny you of your mark and you fnally reaching 4 marks by 16 minutes in game. It means, Knowing that you feel powerleess that you can't gank properly after lvl 9 because you can't deal damage fast and Hard enough to get a free kill that should of been your. it means that you no longer have the Utility to chase down you hunt due to you're e slow getting removed and or reduced. It means Hurting because you have to hurry up and take your mark like the little crackhead you are " KINDRED YOU REALLY LET YOURESELF GO THIS tiME" which puts untintentional stress of players. The kindred last patch was high risk, high reward. Now i feel like collectign stacks wont do anythin, and since Atack speed is capped at 3.00(iv'e tested it in practice mode, what a bummer i know right? That attack speed buff (Lies its a nerf) was really like removing an armor piercing bullet needed to pierce a tank, and replacing it with a Machine gun that shoots out Bee-bee gun pellet. it just doesn't work

Kindreds old passive matched her, the idea of thinking kindred was the essence of death itself made sense. Her passive represented how when ever she tuched you, you would for pushed closer and closer to your death, viegar can have infinate AP, and Nasus infinate AD; but kindred has to deal with a capped attack speed passive, ATLEAST GIVE OUT MORE ATTACK SPEED, and DIsh out A tons of more damage wolf can do. wolf doesnt do damage anymore, wolf does thes same amount of damage of three siege minions attacking you out of agro, and believe me; its not enough to kill somone.

I WANT MY OLD KINDRED BACK, REVERT THE CHANGE. Put her back on PBE, attack speed is not the answer to our kindred problems

i like being able to play a crit champ in the jungle, and i like the kindred rework now much better than her before, she was too balanced around her stacks. "oh you'd be a god amongst men" eh playing around her stupid marks might seem fun for her, not so much for the enemy jungler, who'd have to camp marks, and by doing that making it less fun for the kindred player and it goes on a loop. it's not that after 4 marks you're not 100% still dependent on them. also if you want on hit ranged champs in the jungle go kayle she's kinda fun. ish

i´m feeling the same way about kindred. I really liked the champ and their theme in fact their were my favorite champ in the game even though i wasn´t very successful with them. when i heared about the rework i hoped riot would pull her out of the dumbster, but i guess that was just wishful thinking on my part. higher aa range and all sounded interesting, but it doesn´t help you to snowball since u need items first, which you can´t afford on a jgler´s budget. so to sum it up my lategame is worse than before, my midgame is slightly better if i get my stacks, which will never happen consistently because my earlygame is still shit. also there is no point picking kindred when u have to put in twice the effort into it to achieve the same results every other pick would.

i would have loved if they made her less feast/famine and gave her a way to scale into the game. it seems to me that the whole stacks on champion kill concept is inherently flawed and will always break/cripple kindred. Either the reward is to high, which means her early game has to be shit, so she is never able to get the stacks in the first place, otherwise she will just snowball out of control, or the the reward is to low, which then makes her whole gimmick pointless. And i don´t think there is a lot of room between those two scenarios.
