Make Yas A Jungle Champ...

Look man, we all know and love Yas, a overpowered champ that no one like to play against but lots like to play with. It's no wonder why he gets banned every game. because in the right hands he's deadly. but here's my problems no one wants to play versus Yas so everyone bans him, in low elo. he is legit banned 99% of my games. now i joke not the only time i ever get to play Yas is when i que for jungle. i have no idea why it happens but when i que for top or mid he gets banned or picked. so i've been playing yas in the jungle. it's really fun but he doesn't really have the damage to run out the jungle and get a level 3 gank kill. I was just thinking maybe since no one want to play yas mid or top why not put him in the jungle and rework him to where he's still good but not over powered. like keep the ult and all but make his e heal after the third dash or something just an idea. but that's it. Oh and P.s i bought Rengar. can i have my money back? (needs rework soon!)

a overpowered champ

Might as well as disregard the post right off that. So if Yasuo is so OP, why do better players ban him less than worse players? Play him less? And why does he perform less well?

because he is overpowered for lower elos which is over 90% of the playerbase.

but then why is there a meme about low elo yasuos sucking so much? he has counterplay and a high skillcap

Rewt1 votes

because shitty players are drawn to things that less shitty players stomp with.

Its the enemy team vs my team thing. In low elo its either 10/0 or 0/10. There is no inbetween with low elo yasuo

Well then ladies and gentlemen, you are now no longer allowed to feint in soccer because it dumpsters bad players.

Rewt1 votes

soccer is a completely different situation. trying to apply logic from that sport to the balance of a video game is just retarded and doesnt work.

Look up the definition of "analogy", will you?

Rewt3 votes

Its a shit analogy. It holds no water.

Traditional sports ideals cannot be used to balance a game.

Lets put in a character that one shots everything but has 250 ms. Good player can kite it. but it will dumpster bad players. by your way of thinking that would be perfectly fine to have in the game.

It isn't a bad analogy. They are both "sports" relying on teamwork so you can definitively compare how the rules are made. Why should we change the rules for people who can't play the game properly?

And no, a 250 ms character would not be balanced. Because he has 0 counterplay for melee champions and with shit like thresh and hard cc in the game, he would be extremely unfair. Your example is garbage.

he is fundamentally overpowered with such an overloaded kit, is just that his numbers are all undertuned so he isn't really shining like he should.

GULAG 4 U1 votes

Oh and that's a nice claim without argument.

And you've just admitted that he isn't overpowered because his numbers are undertuned.

Good job. You played yourself.

Maligaro Spike1 votes

Except what I wasn't claiming he's overpowered ahahah ,i just said his kit is potentially strong but undertuned . take your hostility and release it on a punching bag next time

GULAG 4 U1 votes

So he isn't a problem and your unproven claim has no weight in this case?

Huh I always ask my team not to ban yasuo, because it's fun having them on the enemy team. They always have a chip on their shoulders that is fun to rip out. Yasuo players one of the most toxic mind sets if they get stomped and it's fun to read their screams in all chat.
