Riot why u removed dominion from lol?? i love that game mode and all others.... we were also playing in custom hide and seek at that mode... pls bring this mode back with a lot of new benefits...

I just hate how we have no PvP oriented mode to replace it. Only Ascension remains and that's only available in rotating queue. When was the last time it was even up, like 2 months ago?

Meanwhile, DOTA has a ton of permanent game modes and much more. They actually care about their playerbase, even the small percentages.

It was removed so long ago, why are you now complaining about it?
Nobody played it, it was literally just there for no reason

I played it, asshole. So did everyone on my friends list. In fact, excluding bots something like 50k people played it every day. Low compared to Rift, sure, but a far cry from no one.

No it isn't. DnD is Dominion in about the same way as Rift without any Jungle monsters would be Summoner's Rift. The 'Definitely Not' is in there for a reason.

Because Riot didn't feel it fit with their 'competitive vision' for League. That and some plainly false nonsense about it costing to much to bugfix for the Crystal Scar despite the fact that the map still pops up on the Rotating Queue. And not to mention the bots. But the bots are just plaguing other maps now.

Dominion was plagued by botters made by players who were banned and wanted to cheat their way back to level 30, people who were mass producing multiple accounts for personal use, or people who were trying to make an easy buck by selling fully leveled accounts with complete rune sets and champions.

Dominion might have been more popular had it not been for that glaring fact. Players regularly complained about the bot issue; so, Riot merely removed the game mode altogether.
