Because riot hates tanks and bruisers. The nexus turrets ignore 85% of armor last I checked.

riot doesnt hate tanks because we have only one

for bruisers its fair since they can blow up that adc the same way he can blow em up

but we still need riot to make real tanks like braum who wont be forcedto fight the adc's

our current tanks dont fill their role ... they work like realy tanky bruisers who just slowly chase the adc or bounce around the fight being unnoticed

so as far as they cant absorb damage without being hit like braum they cant work

oh and before you flame i post according to ritos stuff (im preety sure that i did read this somewhere but im too lazy to dig the forum)

And 195 armor is still an extra 195% effective health against physical damage.

It used to be 40% so count your blessings. But on point yeah being tanky is hard until further notice

% Penetration is a thing, because offense-based champions need to be able to eventually kill tanks, and League of Legends is more boring for everyone when "eventually" means a minute-long team fight instead of about 10-20 seconds.
