Balance--some fond memories :)

Just remembering back to season 4 worlds when I first started playing league. It was so cool seeing talon, pantheon, fiddlesticks, rammus, singed, galio and others picked in HIGHLY competitive games! Sure, there were still problems like zilean and alistar, but I feel like the pool of viable champs was in a great place!

There are still occasional unique picks like that in general gameplay, but the dominant meta champs feel so overwhelming!

Just figured I'd share some fond memories!

Man remember in season 2 (or was it 3?) worlds when Olaf 1v3'd carries in the jungle and Riot was like "No we're nerfing you." Now tank Ekko can 1v3 and Riot's like "Nah, he's working as intended." Zed is relentlessly becoming easier. "Let's remove QSS and watch people cry over Zed ult." Riot has been going downhill. Like legit; just two seasons ago Riot was saying Dyn Q system is bad as it will be abused, gives disadvantages to the larger premade side, gives bad habits to some players who only cooperate with premades and not with randoms. They removed feast or famine so all chance at balancing assassins and early game powerhouses are gone. The mentality to which HOW they balance has completely changed. Before was based on logic and trying to legitimately nerf or buff a champion and justify it. NOW, it's just like what the fuck? Anything goes. Zed is too strong? Let's not let QSS remove his ult anymore. Ekko such easy champ/toxic/powerfully scaling champ. Let's allow him to build tank and have good burst as a regular mage. Legit there is no reason to EVER go AP Ekko because you just get deleted way too fast. Honestly I haven't seen an AP Ekko in forever. Balance - Riot.

I agree. Season 4 was my favorite.
