What's with all the trolls in Normals lately?

For the past couple weeks I've been playing Normals to try and grind up IP to expand my champ pool and get better at playing those new champions. And it seems like 75% of the queues I end up in have AT LEAST one troll or otherwise toxic player in them. People constantly spamming random crap like "TROLL PREF" or crying "TOP OR FEED" and actually feeding when they get pick ordered, or picking crap like Smite-Ignite Teemo when we already have a jungler and a top laner. I don't remember running into people like this near as much two or three months ago, but now I just can't seem to avoid them. I've almost always got a 5-15 minute dodging penalty because I end up dodging queue just so I don't have to waste 20+ minutes in the actual game just waiting to forfeit. It's seriously mind boggling at this point. I can hardly enjoy learning my new champs because of all the toxicity I'm being smothered with lately. Has anybody else been having trouble with this, or is the RNG of matchmaking just sticking it sideways to me because RNG?

I see why there are more and more trolls in game, but decent people are leaving this game.

They say Riot punishes people who rage at trolls but not troll themselves. This trend has been making higher and higher ratio of trolls in the game I think.

I experienced the same case and I got punished because I argued with the troll.

Yea, which also means there are "that many trolls" in the game now.

I literally can't play normal now due to trolls. I only can play ranked cuz they are at least more serious in playing games.

Riot bans the people that stand up against trolls and then caters to the trolls waiting on them for their every need.

If you tell a troll to stop ruining your game: you get banned If you tell a troll to stop feeding: you get banned If you tell a troll to stop being rude: you get banned If you dodge champ select because Riot is too lazy to implement a system to ban trolls: you get penalized If you make a thread about trolls: you get ignored

If youre a troll though. Nothing happens.

The Riot is just grinding up their money because of trolls yet not doing any improvement to punish trolls.

Apparently, telling a troll to go "ruin someone else's game" is considered verbal abuse and is ban worthy.

Hence. why innocent people are always the victims and the trolls always come out on top.

Probably because it's okay to troll, Riot actually defended a certain streamer who would blatantly be trolling and feeding intentionally, but since they weren't abusing anyone they called it "being bad at the game". This is why some trolls aren't ever punished, some are smart enough to rarely use chat and simply ruin your games in a way Riot translates to "being bad", or "having a bad game". Then if someone responds negatively to the troll, the troll is treated as the victim.

Trolls can be smart about the way they ruin games. They make it look like it's a bad game, but when you stand up to them and tell them that they need to stop, the troll then acts like they got a bad matchup and that youre just being rude.

You then get reported for verbal abuse and the trolls gets to queue up for his next match.
