Support Item Changes

I think that it would be better for the supports if Riot would alter the support items and make it so that upon getting an assist the support receives extra experience and or gold. I've played my fair share of games where I have been 2 - 3 levels behind all the other laners going 0/0/15 and its because I roamed to help other laners and also being that supports aren't really supposed to farm. To balance the item it would only be on assists so that a Le Blanc can't grab spell thiefs and win the game in the first 5 minutes of the game.
