Waiting an hour just to get into one draft game? Can we do something about this?

I have found myself playing far less league, as it seems now to on average take about an hour JUST to start an actual game in draft.

I would be OK with a TEN or even FIFTEEN minute wait queue, as long as everyone got their choice and didnt leave the game. Maybe a 15 min block for dodgeing? Every time my wait is at least 15 min long, and that doesnt include 7 or 8 games that get dodged once we ban champs. I am seriously considering just not playing any more.

One reason, that it takes so long to get ingame is people dodging queue, so i don't really think that lowering the dodging punishment would improove getting into a game faster (well maybe for you, but not for the majority of league players).

Is a dodge punishment not 6 min? I said it should be 15.

Oh i think i misunderstood you, sorry mate. I thought you didn't get ingame because you dodged queue. The dodging punishment stacks up based on how many time you dodge within ~24 hours. The first time is 6 minutes, the second time is 26 minutes and after that it gets to 40+. I think it's ok the way it is now. Sometimes dodging queue is just neseccary. If I'm jungler and my toplaner picks yasuo into darius I'll dodge queue no matter how hard I'll get punished, because I just don't want to be in the same team with that guy.
