No surprise, Dynamic queue has made low elo players who find higher elo people to play with get into ranks they don't deserve.
I've seen so many people in mid gold that barely deserve silver. Looking them up on websites show they've been silver for multiple seasons. The main chance, the dynamic queue situation.

Season IV, climbed from bronze to gold. Season V, climbed from bronze to plat. Season VI, placed into gold.
As such, I've seen play levels quite frequently. I've played a ton of games. It comes down to simple things like map awareness, skillshot landing, etc... Thus, while you're only bronze on your account, it's pretty easy to distinguish the play level.
Sadly, Riot no longer allows you to see what if groups are a duo+. This used to be a feature. However, if you go back through match history you can see who they play with for their ranked matches. I've noticed certain individuals win a lot when grouped with other certain people and lose otherwise.

I am highly skeptical you spent any amount of time going through multiple peoples match history, keeping track of who they played with, researched THOSE people to know they were higher elo always, ect ect ect.
If it smells like bullshit, it usually is.
