Need help to get to gold by end of season

Hi really want to hit gold this season but am struggling. I play mid and have cut my champ pool down and tried playing what the team needs. I normally play well on taliyah though my winrate doesnt show as early this season i played when i was clueless with her. At the moment whenever i roam my bot lane will be on full hp when im walling and just leave me to 1v2. Ive played galio mid when weve needed a tank doing well but team fed. Im just so clueless i have good warding and in a recent game have had to go sightstone on annie mid just because nobody else would drop a single ward. Tips would be appreciated as well as best champs to learn. Thanks!!
