ARAM, summoners rift, URF, other weekend game modes. This champ is quite broken and not fun to fight.

Dont 1v1 or 2v2 him, teamfight him. Dont run into melee range and auto him. Teamfight and CC lock him. Have someone on your team build FH to deal with him. Bring an exhaust.

Exhaust doesn't really work against a Yi killing your team. He's immune to it in his ult. Also Frozen Heart doesn't hurt him while ulting either.

EDIT: Your only option really is to Snare / Disarm / Stun him and blow him up in that brief time window. Although, if you snaer / disarm him, he'll probably just W

His ult isnt always going to be up, especially if you focus on team rotations.

He's probably not going to team fight when his ult is down, in that case, those options won't nearly be as needed. His damage is a lot lower.

Exhaust still has 40% damage reduction which is insane for high-damage carries. And if he's cc'd he can't W. (Good chance your team has knock ups, stuns, suppresses, etc.

I'm pretty sure even the 40% damage reduction doesn't go through since he's immune to slows. I think the entire debuff is resisted. Yeah, he can't W while stunned / knocked up / silenced, but like I said, Snaer or Disarmed he can still.

I'm just about 100% sure the damage reduction goes through.

It's not his normal damage. It's his true damage. So the exhaust doesn't affect that.
