Nasus

Nerf nasus. Why is it balanced that a champion can just farm up and get free damage off of it. Most champions kill the minions and then get items that give them the damage they are looking for afterwards. Nasus kills the minion, gets more damage on his Q, and THEN spends the gold to usually get some item that either builds into a triforce or to get health/defensive items. He stacks infinitely and usually a decent nasus can get around 400 stacks at 20 minutes. Even Im bad at nasus and get around the 300 mark usually by 20. Not only that but he gets an ult that greatly reduces the CD on his Q so he can spasm it as he withers a target (which he maxes second so usually its anywhere from 7-10 seconds because of the CDR he gets on triforce and other items like frozen heart or spirit visage) Sure you can QSS the wither and as long as you have CC he cant kill anyone in ult form. Maybe you get a kill on him if he doesnt have tenacity in his runes or merc treads but even then the chances are low and meanwhile his team is either getting another objective on the map while you 2-4 man him because the other end of the map is a 1-3 v 5 meaning the enemy gets to do whatever they want or they are with him and pummeling the shit out of you because you either focus him or the 2 other carries in the team. His laning phase is actually super good because he gets lifesteal from his passive. With that plus any starting item (except dorans ring) he can easily sustain in lane while the enemy is struggling to land any significant damage on him because he life steals, pots up or has the bonus regen from the dorans shield.

How did you lose to Nasus....as Gnar?

i died initially from one gank then my three next deaths were roughly off of a bad roam/bad tp. i think my last deaths were on him just withering me later in the game and being unable to run

So he got fed and got to do what he pleased, I don't see the problem.

^this. Getting fed and doing what you want is what literally every single toplaner is trying to do. I don't really see how it's an issue of brokenness if he managed to grab multiple kills by punishing your team's mistakes.

Nasus isn't broken but Nasus W is one of the worst designed abilities in the game.

Why is it balanced that a champion can just farm up and get free damage off of it.

There are a couple of things that make him weak/mediocre. The main one is he is extremely easy to shut down because his laning phase is garbage. Unfortunately, many people don't know how to lane against Nasus. Specifically, people love pushing him to his tower over and over, which is exactly where he wants to be. He also crumples to lane swaps. In team fights, it's basically impossible to fail to kite him and if he's shut down properly, he won't be effective even if he isn't kited.

With all that said, I do agree he is poorly designed. Even with the large amount of champions that counters him, he completely boxes out every single tank because none can pressure him enough. Additionally, his design punishes him for interacting with his opponent because doing so results in getting fewer stacks and less sustain which result in fewer stacks and less sustain which result in . . .
