It's ridiculous, I died on my third camps when I was trying out hunters talisman. How is this even possible I thought talisman was used for sustain but it's actually useless. Rito fix plz.

Who were you playing?
In what order did you do the camps?
Did you take the Refillable Potion or 3 Health Potions?
What was your rune setup?
The problem now is one; machete does not regenerate as much life as it did before, because the life steal in early game does not work well as a mechanic against monsters, also the damage it grants against monsters is low, specially if you compare the gold cost to other early game items like Doran's Blade, and the hunter talisman only procs upon spells. So many junglers are going to have issues in the early game, having to back up too quickly.
I think Riot added the XP gain passive on the Hunters Machete and Talisman because many toplaners and other players were killing the jungle camps on the first minute to gain the LVL and then they will use TP to get on the lane with an extra level (and that is why they nerfed the XP gain from monsters). It could be better if they add the XP gain passive to the
and change that item mechanic for something more useful (like gold or more sustain against monsters), in that way they could prevent that situation without hurting the junglers too much.
You can now see articles online saying that the jungler items have much less gold worth than before.
I kinda gave up on jungle. I'll let someone else be behind on levels and gold
what? new jungle is soooooooooooooo easy, just dont buy the hunter talisman or whatever its basically a noob trap
You also lost the very very important crest of regeneration that grants you 50 HP regen for each large monster killed. That essentially gave you 3 extra potions in the old jungle.
i dont even think it gives u hp even tho it says steal LOL I never notice my hp going up when i atk a monster...
Its because masteries are a big deal now. Just go 18/6/6 making sure to get the perk that gives you biscuits and one that makes you take less damage from neutral mobs. Start Machete and 3 hp pots and you should be fine. I was having issues too til I did that and it made it a breeze to full clear on first go, often with a pot to spare. Never get the refillable pots, they are garbage, you are getting 200hp for the same price of 450 hp. Until its buffed to at least 300hp its garbage.
