Looking for Renekton Tips.

I enjoy Renekton, but am not too good at him, and have no idea how to build him, So im looking for Tips on how to play him, build him, and who he is good or bad against.

Solorenektononly on YouTube has great game recording where he talks about how to trade with renekton. If you trade well, you'll get a kill. You get ahead, you can win the game.

The main problem is meta ranged top laners make his life pretty hard. You have to bait there poke out and then e in, aa, w, use tiamat, aa, q, aa, e out.

The problem is if the jungle is close by you might be screwed because now your out your escape.

Also you can just try to walk up and q if they used their abilities already or are melee.

he's unplayable against ranged cancer well, that's probably the reason they became popular in the first place, since he was dominating other melees in top lane before

You can still dumpster some ranged if you're better then they are but yes the other poster is right in that most competent laners using ranged champs will beat you

The only true top lane counter to renekton I know of is Quinn. All others are either extremely easy, skill matchups in your favour or skill matchups in their favour.

Try to keep your rage above 50% whenever you can. Engage only when you have it up. When the enemy top laner tries to go for a CS, E through a minion to him, use an empowered Q, Stun him, get a few AAs in then E back.

For better results, try having your rage at 40, E in, stun with W, AA THEN Q when it's emwpoered.

You are an early game champ, act like it. Scare your enemies by being aggressive when you can. (Renekton does well in mid and late too, but only if your team can follow up from your engages. He can carry, but he has to get fed early game for that).

You should watch solorenektononly for his great gameplay videos, they really helped me.

Itemization depends on the matchup and whether you're behind or not and how much reliable damage you can put out.

thanks for your help. I now know how to use him, and who to beware.

so who does he play good with? and any items necessities to build him with?

I also wanted to mention, ive had him for a long time, but I just got his Pool Partu skin to play with my friends, who have every Pool Party skin except Ziggs. I also like 2 matches with this strategy. 1st game I won, 2nd I did good, but lost.
