Okay so I've played this game since the end of season 3 and so far I've had a love hate relationship with the game. I like the new ranked system but WHY RIOT TO PLAYERS GET SO HEAVILY PUNISHED FOR ACCIDENTLY FORGETTING TO LOCK IN A BAN OR PICK A CHAMP. Genuinely I miss sometimes because I get a text or a roommate will have me come look at something, then bam I have a 30 minute bam I have a 30 minute ban which is outrageous and it makes me not want to play altogether. Why cant you accidently miss and just re que it doesn't make much of any since at all and the punishment is completely unnecessary.

Champ select isn't 'time to go grab a snack' or smoke break time. Pay attention. You team might be telling you useful information like:

Jungler: "I'm going to level 2 gank top"

Not our fault you use champ select time to use the bathroom

I jerk my meat in champ select. Idgaf what my team want's I ban urgot every game, and I'll pick what I damn well please.

That doesn't mean you deserve the time punishments they give you. Its unnecessary. That's like saying people should be punished if they don't pay attention in class yeah its important and you should but should you absolutely have to and if you don't be punished every single time, absolutely not. Sometimes people have to step away champ select is long enough as it is.
