Why isn't Nocturne in the Blood Moon game mode?

Does Riot just no longer consider him an assassin? That seems strange considering he is one and is often built as one. He seems like he'd be so much fun in that mode! Why is he not on that list?!

That's my thought. Visually his ultimate would make the mode much more difficult to traverse.

nocturne is considered a dive fighter. which actually makes more sense.

his entire kit is kinda, dive in with his ult and start chasing/auto attacking people.

Camille is in the list and she's the poster girl of divers.

Nocturne is as much of an Assassin as Shaco.

hes not an assassin because he doesnt have the same gameplay pattern. get in, burst a target down, get out.

the best you could do is build him glass cannon and iniate on someone with ult. but you dont have a way back out of the fight. his kit is clearly that of a diver.

he doesnt have any of the deceptive tricks that assassins can do.

Well, we have Rengo and Shaco. Both without real ways to get out of a fight just like Noc. I mean, I do get that Noc is more of a Diver than an Assassin right now (specially with his most popular and highest winrate builds being Bruiser builds).

My point still stands tho: He's infinitely more of an Assassin than Camille.

The assassin is to not go in and out, in an out. it is about picking off the lonely straggler before a fight, and then picking off the low stragglers at the end of the fight.

Going in and out of the fight makes you look like a diver.

I know, I'm an Assassin main (a Shaco main at that, if it matters). I'm just stating that Noc is much closer to an Assassin than Camille could ever hope to be, yet she's on the list of the Assassin game mode and Noc isn't.

Well, its been stated for a long time Noc is a diver.

Camille is also a diver, don't really see why she would be in there either. Probably because she is new and Rito wants money.

There won't be bans in that mode, I think Riot want's it's playerbase to actually get to play her.

shaco has the blink, which is low cd, on top of the boxes, oh so mnay boxes.

and rengar got cc immunity for his escape method.

Shaco has the blink on a 15 seconds CD, 11.5 if he uses it as an engage. The boxes are not a trust worthy method of getting away from a fight, as they are destroyable with 1 or 2 random AoE thrown at your general direction.

Rengo kinda needs to CC immunity (being turned into a cleanse on PBE, btw) to do his combo before he's burst down by whoever was not the now-dead target.

Noc get's to block a CC thrown at him and fear away another target.

I mean, he is not a Zed like Assassin that goes in, does his thing, and gets back to the starting point, but he's still as assassinish as at least 2 other Assassins.

rengo didn't need his cc immune before the change, he doesn't need it now. fear is also a super powerful cc for escaping, which means the box is crazy for them escapes.

obvi not all assassins can jump into a fivestack and live, to be fair none of them should be able to, but escaping a second or third opponent is what they can do well

Especially with some prep time.

Rengo does need it now, as he can't stack his fury anymore and needs to get it during the fight. Before he was able to come out of stealth and QQWEQ you extremely fast, with most of the damage being dealt in the first QQ. Now he has to QEWQ, with most of the damage being dealt in the last Q. Therefore he needs to be in melee range for a MUCH longer time than before to do his thing, and cleansing a CC is exactly what allows him to do so.

Fear is awesome to get away from a bad situation, but Shaco's JitB are the most unreliable source of fear in the entire game. They need 2 seconds to be activatable, they can be taken down by 1 AoE spell from a mage or 1-2 Auto Attacks from any AD champion (or just die to randomly thrown AoE effects in the team fight), and are instantly deactivated with item 2055 item 3364 . If you are tryng to put those down to get out of a bad spot during a team fight, you're gonna have a BAD time.

To be honest, I'm not sure you have played those champions enough if you really have this opinion, because their Engage+Escape potential is really low in comparassion to any other Assassin.

I mean pretty much his ult is his deceptive trick, he gets in, and bursts the carry.
