Thresh Soul Stacking

Thresh

I noticed, or rather did not notice, that stacking souls does not seem like a something thresh has to focus on. Currently I'm in low silver, and I am a support main. My most played champion anywhere is thresh. Sadly however familiar I was with Thresh, I only recently realized that his souls, gave him bonus ap.

My problem is that as a passive, Damnation doesn't really play much any role in how I play Thresh. Of course I will gather souls in lane, but it happens naturally. I don't ever feel like I'm capitalizing on Thresh's passive. I never go out of my way to stack souls, and I never consider that I may be behind in a game (not tanking as much or dealing as much ap damage) because of a lack of them. The worst part is that there is one part of the passive stated on the wikia that the amount of souls he gets is somewhat affected by how many souls he has. IMO he may as well just get a certain amount of stacks per level. Of course if he only farms big minions and champions like Nunu Nunu, then he can't be denied stacks, but in lane that is a weird mechanic not punishing or rewarding him for stacking the souls.

To fix this I would like to suggest another pre-season change, or change in a future patch, removing the aspect of the passive that gives more souls when behind / vice-versa. This would make people feel punished for not taking advantage of his passive and rewarded for stacking.

First post, lemme know what you think, if your toxic I'm afking.

<- High gold Support + Thresh main

There is a TON of power in his passive, it's just not very visible. You really should be going out of your way to collect those souls :)

Thresh does nothing well, he just does a little bit of everything at a sub-standard level. He's the utility/tank version of utility/mage Sona, or mage/tank Bard.
