I find it highly ironic that ranked is less stressful than normals for me, why is this happening?
Recently (and by recently I mean a couple of months straight now) I've ran across games where the skill difference is distinct and blatant between two teams, but whereas in ranked you're forced to play with people roughly close to your ranking in normals there's no such stipulation.
I don't much enjoy ranked, I'm certainly not the best player around and I'm not a fan of the hyper competitive nature of it, and by all means it's fine to be competitive, after all there's rewards and the like on the line. But for the love of god can someone please explain to me why it is that I can que up for a nice relaxing normal game and get matched against two diamonds two golds and a plat?
I'm just a bronzie, I hate it when I get thrown into the lion's den and inevitably watch as the lane with the high ranked player snowballs out of control and uses their sack of gold to cudgel every other lane that might have had a chance of doing well. And that's not even bringing up the bot lane fiesta's where the poor adc's and support's get the stuffing beaten out of them like they were pinatas full of money.
It's not like I'm saying I'm doing well and my team just fails me, I drop the ball from time to time as well, and when it is them I can hardly blame them losing their lane when facing vastly more experienced and skilled players. So if someone somewhere has an explanation for why it is that this keeps happening or any method that I could use in order to not deal with it as often that would be most appreciated.
