Every Champion has a counter ft. Zilean

So lately I've been seeing a lot of people stressing about Zilean so as a Zilean main I want to clarify a few things and assist those who are maybe in trouble. To begin with, he's not that noob-champ, well, kinda, but mostly balanced. The main problem is his damaging poke and powerful cc as well as the ult. Note: This post is for going against skilled Zilean players.

BP Time Don't ever pick an AD melee like or . You are likely to lose lane in ten minutes if the enemy Zilean is skilled. Instead, pick champions like with her bulls**t E shield. Or due to her shifting abilities and snowball abilities.

Laning phase Probably the hardest part so make sure several things. 1. Tell your jungler to gank mid. 2. Try to get a kill before he hits 6. 3. Make sure he gets as little cs as possible. A Zilean with a rod of ages and has ult suppresses lane extremely. Zilean's harass is actually pretty crap before he has enough AP and level so you got to make sure he's the one going back to base, dead or alive. Side stepping can avoid most bombs and start running toward the jungle if you already have a bomb on your head. Running back to turret just makes you an easier target. Don't panic if he slows you, and unless he brought a solo kill rarely happens since his auto attack is just so weak.

How to Kill? DON'T ever dive him after 6. Even if he doesn't have ult, his bombs and slow can already trigger a 1 for 1 trade. Basically get him down to a low health, there's a roughly 4-6 second time before his next wave of cc so use that time to cc him and "do something" with him. Hopefully, your jungler chose wisely. is a good example of jungler with hard cc.

How to win Get mid lane turret. Even if five men mid, get that turret. Now Zilean can't use his op wave clear and make sure to focus him. That way he will give the ult to himself, instead of the adc. Also, silence is extremely well so pick or to make sure he doesn't poke your health down.
