Anivia Build order

Generally speaking, I rush RoA in pretty much every situation, but when I'm against a Zed/Talon, I know I need a seeker's armguard pretty early on. When should I build it in relation to the RoA? If I build straight into it I'm mana gimped and can't clear waves effectively, but if I wait for RoA the armor starts to become insignificant. What do? Just build it after Catalyst?

Also, when I'm not having to rush a Zhonyas, should I start my Tear after I buy Catalyst or after I finish RoA? Thanks for any input.

Every match is different. But I usually get the item 3003 first because I almost always have to buy the item 3070 since the bird uses so much mana.

Honestly I almost always rush RoA no matter who my opponent is. Generally because I usually just let let minions push under tower and farm to my best ability. Having to use my E quite often. This way even if I'm dived my passive will keep me alive, it'd be hard for someone to kill you twice. Especially if you can get a stun off under tower. If I manage to die to a talon, zed, yasuo, etc. I'll get a seekers. If you can tell by your first back that your lane opponent isn't a huge threat and you can manage to keep your passive up just go RoA. As someone mentioned before Seraph's is an okay choice. She does use a lot of mana but I usually get Seraph's as a 2nd or 3rd item. Though she uses a lot of mana I focus more on farming anyway. If you can farm well and get some good items early you're good. Though I would recommend getting a Zhonya's at some point in the game.

I don't even get zhonyas until 3rd item when playing against zed, and probably don't get zhonyas at all against talon unless he's fed (talon historically struggles more against high hp opponents than high armor ones for some reason)

also if you do seraphs/roa on anivia, get the tear as your FIRST item before starting RoA, otherwise it will stack way too late to matter
