Save a champ ARAM

I don't know how conceivable this would be, but it would be really nice to be able to keep a champ in ARAM after someone dodges. Maybe use one of your re-rolls to safe guard you favorite champ should someone dodge.
It's just really frustrating when you get a champ you really like but someone dodges last second.

The only problem that could come up from this is, if two people get put on the same team which both "locked" their favorite champion, and it happens to be the same champion, who gets their choice?

You can't logically allow something that doesn't happen normally (allow both players on the same team to have the same champion), so logically one person would have wasted a reroll (aka safeguard) for no benefit.

It would require a significant amount of work for them to track which champion was safeguarded last by a player to avoid placing two players with the same safeguarded champion on the same team, so much so that I doubt it would even be on their radar for consideration for a very, very long time.

Not trying to burst bubbles, but just presenting a logical counter to the question. =/

Except again, you have the issue come up of, if two people have priority on a pick, who gets it?

By giving it to one person over another, you're essentially making their "save" far more valuable than the person who didn't get their pick.

a couple weeks ago I was having a bad day in league, was just losing a game after another, a few of them were ranked too and I was just salty... I queue up for an ARAM and get someone scrub, and I roll and get my beloved Freelo ARAM queen, Sona... and of course there was a dodge >:[

I really needed that boost that day :'( i cri evrytiem
