Alright RIOT twice in one day. The intentional AFK from ranked matches has got to stop. Every player gets it. They know that desperate pulling feeling that is so close to agony that its the only thing that would make you say ''league is dead''. You can have fancy skins, lolesports videos, Reddit blogs and even a Wikipedia page, but there's not enough info out there to pacify this problem. We want real boundaries. League is fragile! In case you didn't notice its the same map over and over. If just one of its participants jumps ship, everyone suffers. There's no real response to the reporting. It would be nice to get a message or something saying ''X summoner has been banned or punished for X behavior, thanks for your report, and keep up the good work summoner.'' If the game is smart enough to make the summoner red for leaving, its smart enough to calculate the time since the disconnection and if its within the first 15 minutes or so make it a loss prevented for the rest. With proper repercussions your not going to have a multitude of leavers abusing that method or checks and balances. I've got around 2 to 3 years of experience with this game, and ive been gaming long enough to know when the players have had enough.

I just had an asshole adc afk until minions appeared on lane. Then he started playing. When mid game pops up everyone started bitching at me for having lich bane. I had it because i started as a solo lane against a duo and i was the one who was a level a head and needed the damage.

That coupled with a bronze 5 fucking jungle who NEVER ganked and got a kill, NEVER called for getting dragon or called for wards on it, and NEVER did anything of any importance in the entire fucking match. He literally had maybe 3 assists and several deaths. The dumb ass even thought rammus could curl and ult a ulting life stealing attrox who HAD passive up. He just ended up feeding

When a player goes afk for any amount of time the game needs to end right then and there and everyone given a pardon. Im so tired of bull shit in ranked. I started at fucking silver 4 being place there at the end of 4th season because i started a week before the season ended in ranked.

Now it maybe i get demoted because of bull shit bronze players never doing the shit they KNOW they need to be fucking doing; If so im gonna quit league forever this game isnt worth the drama money or constant stream of handicaped morons. Maybe if i was only placed in matchs of ONLY silvers and bronze players confined to their bull shit, then i would reconsider but not likely. I literally just started playing ranked after years and i already want to quit cause its dumb ass central. You are not allowed to afk EVER. Instead of banning accounts they need to fine them money directly to their credit cards. Until they pay it. They cant get ANY rp on their account while wiping any rp balance on the account and cant play in ranked. Not only will it help curb bull shit in ranked. It will help fund riots counter measures against these game ruining punks

This is very a naive thing to say, and without going on a rant, there is no good solution to the problem. Yes tweaks could be helpful, but compensation will be abused, while harshness will lead to creating of more fake accounts.

To say League is dead, while it is one of the top, if not THE top, played game, is very ignorant.

I don't think it is dead, but ranked has big problems..

I started back playing ranked again after a long pause.. after 3+ years and around 3,000+ games i knew a thing or two. I ward (even if I am not support) and know when to get out when I am low, ping others about drag/ganks,etc..

My first 6-7 games back in rank, each had a afk/lvr. One even had a afk then the adc (cait) decided it is better to sit in fount than to play. Since it was obvious to all that 4v5 we would loose. In actual fact we were holding our own 3v5. He finally got in game only to be so far behind it was worthless.

Each of these games I loose points. I do not mind loosing if we have the worse team. But I do mind loosing a 4v5 where we had a chance if it was 5v5.

So your reason for making this thread is because of afkers?

Why not just make this a thread about afkers being a problem, and what Riot can to do to fix it then? Wtf does the game being dead have to do with any of what you said? Even if the game is dying, and afkers are a problem, the two have nothing to do with each other since afkers have always been a problem...

Try making a proper thread about leavers, and not one with such a misleading and unrelated title/poll... Until then you're doing nothing to fix the problem you're actually having.

League of Legends... while it has it`s flaws and it's problems, is in my opinion.. the most alive game right now..!

I have no idea what you mean by "dead". The amount of players is still rising, and isn't slowing.

I hate it when people blame their team for being bad. It's okay to be mad at trolls and AFK. but why are you blaming people for being bad. You can't force people to be good. This is a video game, not a job..! Just play for fun. Realize going pro is a pipe dream

If people are truly bad at the game, they go to bronze 5. If you are bad, you are in bronze 5. Just my input cuz I was in bronze 5 before and I climbed out.. fun timez

honestly the game itself is not dead i love normals they are extremly fun a majority of the time, however ranked itself is dead its boring it feels terrible to play a majority of the time, imo the ranked system needs rework.
