Dear Riot, a Few thoughts on Kassadin.

There may not be a Crusade against tanks and fighters, but no one can deny that there is one against all casters (assassin-esk ones especially. )... Actually let me take that back... except the AD casters. (Cough )

I apologize for any disrespect, that's not my intent. However I am rather heated about this, as Kass is hands down my favorite champ. But when you (Riot) decide to, "Leave Him intentionally underpowered." as a means for "Fixing" or "Balancing" or any other champion in the game... You can't honestly be happy with that, right?

did more damage on release, and still does more damage than Kassadin after Ekkos nerf. But the solution to "Balancing" him wasn't destroying his kit, (which if people on the PBE had been listened to when it came to Kass...) it was nerfing his ratios and base damage, by a reasonable margin, oh and adding a mana cost to his ult. (Which is more effective in most cases of team fighting than Kassadins.) That was enough.

Instead of giving Kassadin the same love/hate (I understand he was permabanned, but for the love of all things unholy...) you destroyed his kit. Sure you didn't take "Rift Walk" away, but you removed a powerful and crucial part of his character, his silence. Yes it was replaced with a baby I negate 50 damage magic only shield (much sarcasm on actual amount). But that doesn't even realize it's full potential, why can't it be a short lived "Black Shield" you know, since he can't silence and he's melee and you know they are going to retaliate... Or make it stack like his E and then get a shield. Think about it.

Kassadin needs better base damage, ratios, and for the love of everything... remove the mana ratio on his ult, it's insulting as it does 12 damage (Again sarcasm).
