It's happened a second time before only this time during ranked game. Client freezes and I lose a game because of it. Sadly, I can't just ctr-alt-del to task manager, because client is full screen. I guess I could play windowed, but it sucks playing with bars atop. For quality of life, there should be a fail-safe to get out of a full-screen game when you client freezes completely.
Ctrl shift escape instantly opens the Task Manager.
You can also play in Borderless Windowed.
you can't play borderless or open taksmanger with ctrl shift escape. at least i coudnt. leauge forcefully puts itself ahead of everything else, rendering the screen completely useless. i manged to close league by having taskmanager open on a different screen (cause it happend again). it worked in getting league to close. but i wasnt able to reopen the game until i restarted my pc. so...
it doesnt happen often tho. so that is something.
Anytime a game locks up my desktop, I usually windows button + Tab and create a new desktop then work from there
