Stop taking farm from a mid laner or adc if you're support, jungle or top

I see this all the time at low elos, support naut, or jungle malphite steal 2+ waves for no reason. if you're playing a champion that requires zero gold to be effective there's no reason why you should be taking gold from champions that are only effective with gold. the difference between having the gold from 3-4 waves and not could be a dcap or an infinity edge. would you rather your carries have their core items or you have enough for a health crystal, which ultimately will do absolutely nothing in a teamfight.

one reason why i hate playing mid lane is because everyone just goes there steals all the cs and lets their towers tank wave after wave of cs

Top laners still require some farm to get tanky.

yeah, it's called going to your lane and getting farm. not going to every lane and clearing them. junglers have a whole jungle, and if the mid laner is taking your jungle then that means they pushed their lane up and need more gold. same with adcs. it's a known fact that gold is more effective on the carries than some tanky jungler. i wonder why all the pro teams don't just give all the cs to supports and junglers since apparently in solo q they are the most important roles?

Wait, are you talking about when jungle is just going from one side of the map to the other and their jg is cleared, or do you mean jungle should never take lane CS? Bc if you're arguing that lane tax isn't a thing when you gank then lol. Also it's really hard to not take CS if you're pushing the lane w/ the laner after a successful gank, and you should almost always push lane to tower to build an exp advantage for you laner, unless the laner doesn't need to back bc they did it recently, and the wave is in a position the laner can freeze it.

  1. It depends on how the laner is doing. I played w/ a mid lane galio that played into leblanc and died 2 or 3 times in like 5 or 6 minutes and then asked for help. Our Jax was crushing top and I was Nunu jungle. No I'm not gonna focus on helping a lane out who lost hard when they have a counter pick to the enemy and there is a lane I can focus on getting to carry harder than the one crushing our player. Yes when you're that behind, your lane is no longer your cs bc other people need it to carry you.

  2. Yi, Annie, Jax, Tryn, Vlad, Heimer, Fizz, Irelia, Riven, Aatrox, Akali, Cassiopeia, Darius, Diana, Ekko, Fiora, Hecarim, Jayce, Karthus, Kassadin, Kennen, Kha'zix, Lissandra, Morgana, Mordekaiser, Nasus, Nidalee, Olaf, Poppy, Rengar, Swain, Udyr, Vi, Vayne, Wukong, Yasuo. ALL of them are carry top or jungle champs that can do just as well with farms as most mids, so if they are doing well, then even if he mid isn't doing bad, they should probably steal farm if they're mid. This doesn't even count tanks like amumu, sej, and gragas who scale to be crazy late game and can carry the team w/ farm and getting so big the enemy can't kill them but can't ignore them either.

  3. In low elo it is stupid how often teams don't rotate to catch big waves. This is part of why I LOVE support annie in low elo. After laning there will be huge waves in lanes w/ no one in them and as support you just run over w/ mobi boots and start farming. If no one on your team is going to get the farm why would you give it to the minions/tower? I've had more farm on support annie than some laners (especially enemy lanes if my team is doing well) from cleaning up empty lane farm in low elo and I didn't start taking CS until 15-20 minutes.

It is pretty situational whether or not to take farm from mid/adc honestly. Also if you're in either of those roles as low elo, buy an upgraded yellow trinket, watch your team so they don't get flanked (they will get into a fight 4v5 so you have to have vision so you can get there and make it 5v5), and farm up the empty lane cs while people squable over mid/bot cs. The only thing about that is you have to have vision and be good enough to not die while doing that or let your team do stupid stuff and throw (it is your fault if they do bc you're the one going to get farm instead of grouping), and many people in low elo don't have map awareness for this.

pretty much never situational, and if your team is dumb enough to not go to their lane and pick up waves at the tower then you're probably gonna lose anyway. you can't win a game 1v5 regardless of whether you're a carry jungler or not. you keep stealing all the carries cs, eventually there will be a point where you're going to get blown up and the rest of your team is doing no damage since they had no gold all game

I dunno, my experience is I do it on a reasonably regular basis and it has worked up to low gold for me. In bronze an silver people let any lane they aren't grouped in build up during mid game. It doesn't necessarily mean the team is going to lose, it just means it's low elo.

Also like I said as long as one or two carries have gold, then if there's a third they don't need to have much for you to win in lower elo games. A five or six item top lane carry and ADC (or mid), with a 4 or 5 item jg tank and a 2 or 3 item mid (or adc) is probably more likely to end the game than the same primary carries w/ a 3 or 4 item 3rd carry and a 3 or 4 item jg tank. You only need so much damage to win the fight, but you need a tank to stay alive long enough to keep the carries up to do the damage.

Then again people in low elo complain if the support takes kills, and my experience if you can carry w/ annie support taking kills bot lane bc annie gets gold to initiate and burst down out of position carries, and the ADC gets ahead in levels and CS so they build a gold advantage anyway (unless the ADC is bad and getting out CS'd in a lane you're winning in kills, in which case I don't trust an ADC who can't CS to carry and I'd rather do burst damage from Annie support, and let mid and top clean up the kills for the team).

You're free to disagree, I'm just saying my experience, which may be different based on MMR. What I'm saying may not apply when you get past gold and go higher. Not sure bc I've only played bronze 3 to gold this season and haven't been higher.

I have the same experience as chogath support(when not disconnected...I hate where I live) why in the world do I reduce the whole wave to one-hit for you and the carry focuses the only minion the creeps are focusing or misses so many other creeps

it feels satisfying to run in and burst a champ from 100 to 10% in an instant though early game and let your carry last hit for early gold

downvotes cause people still bronze for stealing all their carries cs. you're going to be winning games with that item 3092 support morgana

If you take my wraiths without asking, I will be in your lane every time smite is up to drive-by a cannon minion.

Thanks, but I'll tax lanes all I want if I'm ganking or you're dead.

The only reason I would farm lane as jgl is if they keep farming my jgl. Too often I see greedy mid take wolves or bot take golems (or grump) just because they need 50 more gold and their lane is pushed. Hey douchebag, when your lane is pushed go help mid or top but stop gaming the fucking jgl, your not even getting full XP/gold/buffs from it. you have to understand you jgl need gold too and if you aren't there to take the farm leaving it would be stupid, if the lane is near tower. Stop shitting on your jgl, it's already hard enough with douchebaggy laners stealing buffs, you also need every bit of gold you can without going overboard and stealing all you laners kills. But if an ADC get red buff when I pinged him to gtfo because I need it for dragon, or when mid steal blue because they want mana regeneration without buying a single item for sustain, I won't have any remorse farming a few creep waves.

TL;DR: If your a laner: GTFO of the jgl, ASK for buffs and stop farming wolves and grump, your not even getting the buff because you need smite to get it (grump poison or wolves free Ward), and stop being such a pussy about a few creeps if a gank goes wrong, you are not the only in the game who need gold.

They need to take some gold to offset what theylost by roaming to your lane to try and help you, especially true if you were so busy farming you did nothing to help them gank (which I see happen a lot).

In any case, minions are the TEAM'S GOLD, not any one person's. Sejuani says: Don't be a greedy little Bristle.
