I use to be able to get maybe 6-7 key fragments by getting an B or higher on a champion but lately I havent gotten a single key fragment. I have gotten tons of A and B's in the past 30 games but I still havent gotten a single key fragment. Is there something im doing wrong?
can you get key fragments through ascension or any other gamemodes?
key fragment rate drops by every frag you get and resets every month so either play more or wait a month
btw, after 12 frag the drop rate become so ridiculously small that is practically 0
all that matters is wins, grade doesn't matter. Queueing with premades helps increase key drop rate.
Key frags are not tied in any way to your mastery score for the game.
The only two requirements are that you win and that you own the champ.
Being in a premade currently very slightly increases the drop rate of key fragments, so you could use the public chat rooms called "lfg" and "ARAMlfg" if you want to find people for key hunt session. You can find the option to join a public chat room in the clubs section of the client, near the friends list.
spam the RGM, just let loose and enjoy yourself, got plenty of frags from the wins ( and still had a good time when losing) as opposed to the 20-40 minutes matches rift is.
