Riot bias to early game?

From playing in Preseason, seems like riot loves it's early moves and early finishes to its games, rendering hard scaling champs pretty useless. Adding platting "extends Laning phase" but really just speeds up the game cause they get gold and you're dead in the water. Does riot not care about players who like late game?

No they don't. They want games to be quick. Couldn't you tell by this year's worlds? Also by the fact that none is allowed to be tanky?

Imma do my nasus build anyways and keep the enemy from getting to my tower with my mana sustain for e.

Might even do conq more for some great early damage on my auto attacks. It would help give me a little bit more of early game pressure

Idk if it's directly riot, but I do know from an industry insider that there is pressure from tencent to aim for a 15 minute average match duration. For numerous reasons, but the standard is pressured against them through tencent's control of the advertisement market in Asia, meaning they'll just promote your competitor (which they likely also own) more.

Not trying to demonize tencent, I think that they're just throwing their weight around to capture as much of the Asian market as possible with the products that they own.

They are biased towards scaling.

I don't think you understand what the word bias means. They simply want games to end faster, which I disagree with, but nonetheless that is what they are pushing for.
