I am shameless scumbag and I pick Lux top into Morde. Easiest lane ever....

If you want to be a shameless scumbag, Soraka/Vayne.
Mordekaiser gets rammed in the but by any champ that has sustained damage, dodge his ez to read skills, and take advantage of his lack of mobility. He is the easy to gank too.
As a morde main, here are my tips to counter him : -banning him:morde is extremely vulnerable to bans. Indeed, when banned, he can't take any action. -dodging : if he isn't banned, know that his abilities can be dodged easily if you dodge during the lobby.
It's mostly knowing about the matchup and how to build around him
Fiora and Darius can just straight out duel him, Aatrox has a chance if he plays it perfectly, and Gankplank is untouchable. The top lane supports like Soraka and Sona are fine too if they rush QSS.
