So i just finished a regular game...not ranked...went 17/1/8 and got an S-
So what the hell does it take to get an S these days...
I've had a few like this and keep getting S-
Am I missing an objective...I cut down turrets...I take inhibs...and I finish the Nexus alone...
Please tell me what I'm missing as I want to get S and S+ please...

Sarutobi1 votesit depends more so on what champion you are playing, the role you queue up, as well as other things in the game like ward placements/destroy, cs.
I dont know which game you are talking about in your match history, but taking a quick look seems to me that you queue up as ADC, so at the very least CS would play a major role with getting a hit ranking, as Death could be something you want to strongly not want to happen (even one can lower your ranking)

OneMustFall1 votesActually I'm surprised you didn't get at least an S. Your CS is pretty decent, your damage is good, KDA is good. Probably were really close to an S, just needed like 10 more CS or a tower kill.

Mezomorph1 votesMy supports are getting S and S+ over and over again...which I'm so glad for them...you did great with 51 assists...that's like the best I've ever seen so great job...
Another 'it would be nice' if supports got a scaling bonus for giving up farm to the ADC...sometimes I give kills to my support as a strong support makes for a strong team (ADC and Support)...
Anyway great job on your 51...you are a great support...

JavelinJoe1 votesyou died. but it is more role dependent. ADC's need shit tons of CS 200+ usually does it. Also you need to take towers actively. Like you are the last hit or part of the assist. Same with neutral camps. And usually a 50-60% (even sometimes more) kill participation is needed too.

Would be nice...and yes I know there are lots of 'would be nice' but if Riot provided more detail regarding both what it takes and how close you were to attaining it...that would be nice...LOL
I don't need to know the exact formula, but rather how close in a radial dial or scale...they offer us so many stats...how about focusing on the ones that count and progress our ratings...would be awesome if they could be viewed in real time during the game...as I might have changed strategy to get my next 'up'...
I had thought of just hanging around the Nexus and picking off champs as they tried to challenge me...but I was sure I had an S so I just finished...guess what...no S...sad face...
And off topic but one more 'that would be nice' if there was a solo queue for ranked that was for just 'solo' players...my ranked is awful...and I'm not a great player...but I always end up on the 'all solo' team against a pre-made team...and they are usually talking over skype or curse...
WoW has a true solo queue and it creates games that are more competitive...
