Anxiety?

Finally, after many years of playing, I finally figured out why I have so much trouble winning games. The one thing that is consistent, through all of the seasons, metas, ranked shenanigans and whatnot, is my anxiety. Its not that i'm nervous about my play, or my teammates, or whatever.

Every time I'm about to make a play, big or small, my heart starts throbbing. and I hold my breath (bad habit from anxiety in other stuff lol), and i cannot think straight. I might as well close my eyes and press random buttons. Sometimes it works out perfectly so I forget about it, or I'm so tilted that I don't even notice. Its really sad it took me so long to figure out.

Does anyone else have this? Or any tips to work on it? And its not that just need to play more. I've been playing ranked since season 4 or 5. Probably around 2k games in the last 3 years. Really don't want this to restrict me from achieving higher levels of play.

Thanks to anyone who reads this![slayer-jinx-catface]

Man, I get this too. I've taken to muting everyone at the start of the game because I thought I was getting stressed out from the thought of being flamed. But now I just imagine what my teammates are probably saying when I mess up so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I get it.

I have always been that player who only plays the one-two champs per season.

I played AP EZ and Syndra for 2 seasons straight.

After a while I would start getting stomach pain when playing them.

Went to the doctor and its cause I had been stressing out so badly because I was afraid of doing poorly.
