After attempting to return to the game again (for the 4th time now), I can safely say this is the worst online experience I've ever had, and I won't be playing again unless someone else convinces me. I've tried quite a few MOBAs, and this one easily has the worst new player experience out of them all. I don't think I've had a game with at least two queued smurfs on the enemy team.
R0ses R Red1 votesMy tip is to play more and get better or to tough it out. Not to come off as rude though. Either you drop(not intentionally ofc) games and receive flame for each game it takes to hit your true mmr, in which case you should mute everyone, or you improve to a silver level of play since most lvl 30 > smurfs are silver/gold. Normals has wonky matchmaking in general though. There's not much else, but it also may be worth a shot to just buy a lvl 30 account and attempt ranked. After placements, you should consistently get placed with iron or bronze players if that's where you currently are.

Uraraka1 votesSmurfs are indeed annoying and the way some players write in chat, the experience for new players is bad. I also agree that it is slightly worse than other moba in early levels, don't be frustrated with it. Initial few levels are always hard in some games and once you're like level 30+ you will get better experience. Ranked ladders (Solo/duo queue or Flex 5v5) are lot better, even if they've smurfs and till you reach higher levels I suggest you to play with nice players you come across or join Discord server to find good team mates there.
Also understand that the smurfs you see or the toxic players you see aren't the community and are just the annoying part of the community. gl hf
