What about better visibility when playing the Top Side of Summoners Rift?

Life is all fine and dandy (especially for new players) when your team has spawned at the bottom side of the map. Going into Lane you have better view of those playing the top side of the map. But at times the situation is the opposite, and your team has the top side of the map, trading in lane and csing is a little more challenging due to the fact that the "player status bar" is on the bottom of your screen blocking your view of your opponents, and they do seem to be aware of this. Is there anyway that we can have this rearranged?
