Can someone PLEASE explain how annie is balanced?

I mean, annie has counters just like everyone else. The real protip is that you should play a few games as her first. Learn her strengths and weaknesses. Then come back once you've beaten her a few times. I've never lost lane to an Annie while playing Ziggs for instance. I at most go even with her, generally coming out with higher CS. Pretty sure the story is the same for other long range mages too, just punish her range and don't get caught. Flash is a thing yes, but that's why I take barrier against her and play safely. Just my 2 cents, I've never had a problem against her.

she has weaknesses. She is low range and immobile and can easily get out poked mid. I beat her with ap Lucian all the time simply cause I never get close enough for her to hit me. But the moment she catches me.... Im dead.

I do agree though that the aoe stun is a little op at times but thats you she has those weaknesses.

She's easy to predict. "Hurr durr annie's walking towards me with her stun I wonder what she's going to do."
