The mana changes: Please just don't.

I'm only making a new post because I can't comment on the prime thread (says "login to comment" regardless of if i'm logged in or not).

But please just don't do these changes. Don't do any of them. Don't scale them back and apply them, just scrap them.

The ONLY thing you need to do to achieve the goals listed in the prime thread is REVERT ARCHANGELS. Archangel's is an incredibly appealing buy when it comes with 20% CDR, a massive amount of CDR which is rarely found on a single item anymore. This item is extremely popular on mids for this reason and gives both a big resource pool AND spell uptime, which is why so many mages end up with oppressive amounts of waveclear whether they were designed to or not. If you just separate those purchases it will allow the mages whose strengths are supposed to be waveclear (like anivia) to continue doing their job while other mages will have to sacrifice other stats that are important to them if they want unlimited mana.

PLEASE. All I play is mages, i'm going to quit if I find myself with no options every time my bot loses and i get rotated on. Bot lane is already REALLY influential, with nerfs to waveclear it's going to be absolute hell for mids on the losing side.

So please. Just don't. Scrap ALL these planned changes, revert Archangels. Maybe take mana off of Ludens. Problem solved.
