A Little Help With Unit Collision

tl;dr: Unit collision has always been the bane of my existence ever since I figured out what unit collision was. Does anybody have some solid tips for dealing with unit collision, particularly in lane?

Often times I'll find that unit collision forces me to move in a certain direction, usually the opposite of where I initially thought I clicked. While this in and of itself is not a massive problem, it's just pathing, it's the seizures. Dear sweet mother of all things merciful and colorful, we've all encountered those moments when your champion's brain cells simply cease to exist, and they begin convulsing and foaming at the mouth.

I've tried searching for articles and YouTube videos alike on the subject, but it's always just people talking about how annoying it is and that Riot should remove it, rather than giving any meaningful advice. While my uneducated self would agree, the point is that it exists, and I would like to learn to deal with it as is.

don't walk in between 2 minions, walk either in between the front and backline minions, to the sides of the entire wave or behind the entire wave. you also want to avoid trading pretty much altogether if YOUR own minions are gathered in a line.

that or just play Yasuo Leblanc Fiora Fizz Kled or anyone else with some kind of dash/backflip. or anyone who can build item 3046

Thank you for replying. Is there anything I can do if I'm already in the situation? Say I slip up, and the stroke has already begun, is there any way to get out of it quickly? I'd imagine walking away from the minions is a good place to start, but I've found myself wedged in nearly impossible situations before. Quick note on avoiding walking between 2 minions, I've had instances where the character got stuck on just a single minion, usually when it is also moving, but sometime (albeit rarely) when they are standing still.

How would I get out of the situation if it has already happened? I also get stuck on a single minion sometimes.
