Has the riot balance team ever played this game? Seriously Illaoi has completely ruined the game. It's been like 4 years and they haven't nerfed her yet. Why does the tankiest champion in the game also have the most self-healing, does the most damage, and has the best wave clear/lane pressure in the game? She doesn't have any counter play and when she gets picked it just makes the game not fun to play. Please someone at Riot explain to us where you get off letting this go unchecked. It's ridiculous.

Because she only stomps on really low skilled players.

Her kit is SOOOO predictable.
Dont stand in her Ult Dodge her E and Q (anyone without boots can) Clear her Tentacles and W does nothing.

Really She needs buffs because once you are vs Gold+ players she cant do anything.

if you die that quickly to her you shouldn't do that. Illaoi has massive delays on her stuff though so you should be able to predict/react to when she hits R and back off. you have control of the lane afterwards provided you didn't take too much damage

You wish it were that simply. Illoqi r/w's the second you fight because you have to get in melee range because you're Melee. Yeah just get out of it you say. I'm a darius with no mobility what? Oh i can just walk out of it? Oh okay- oh and 4 tentacles just slapped me and I'm dead. Oh great. Yeah you can try to react but unless you like, freakin flash you gonna die. You can't walk away from her before the tentacles slam. They go immediately. From multiple directions. And I've been able to dodge her and make her use stuff when i take out tentacles. But then okay everythings down, tentacles are down, I'll fight her! R.. tentacles slam... I'm half health. Oh lets run now... w...slam oh I'm dead. Tentacles do slam faster too.. so less reaction time. Yeah she can be counterpicked. But for a melee champion you can't even fight. And don't say bait out her r. Because only an idiot illaoi will let you bait it. If you fight even a decent one they'll save it till you're right in melee range. No way to escape atleast the first hit.

Illaoi has a lot of counterplay but they've ruined a lot of her visual clarity with the recent changes

What, in particular, are you struggling with? I two trick Illaoi and Volibear in high diamond, I can give you good pointers

I would love to get the E back, so that you can make it last not that long if you damage Illaoi. Btw, any tipps for playing Aatrox/GP against her?

the problem with that was that it made matchups binary on whether or not you could hit fast, and it also baited you into thinking you could fight her when she was ahead.

I think the biggest thing people don't do is punish her E. 100%, if she misses it, you need to go in and do at least a little damage or else you can't disrupt her pressure game.

GP is generally a counter pick because of how well he farms from range and counter pushes against Illaoi. Clear tentacles after pushing her back out to reduce her threat range and only all in with your ultimate if you get her to waste her E. Otherwise you can feel free to farm survive and out scale her hard.

Aatrox has the early advantage but again, he can't fight her if his spirit is in play. His poke will be mitigated by her sustain if he gets hit too much. Again, poking her is your friend; use E to dodge her abilities and bait her E and R. Those 2 cooldowns are extremely important to killing Illaoi.

I would like to ask WHY ARE HER TENTACLES FUCKING INVISIBLE half the time I can see them but the other half riots like ha rofl lmao fk you dude she outplayed you with the invisible tentacle.

they lose their hurt box when she cults, presumably because it would be really distracting to see tons of lines all over the screen in .5 second intervals
