Lux and Mages in General

Jesus Christ, I cant go anywhere in the rift without seeing this and then immediately getting snared and then getting blasted with that laser beam of god proportions. I'm fine with Lux having the kit but do you mind, Rito, to reduce her passive damage which basically gives her an extra twenty ap burst whenever you trigger it with abilities. And also tweak that E of hers to not have that much range, it is nearly impossible to dodge unless you are already at the edges of the range it is allowed to be at.

Evidence A: "Lux's offensive abilities mark all affected enemies with light energy for 6 seconds. Her basic attacks and  Final Spark consume the mark, dealing 20 - 190 (based on level) (+ 20% AP) bonus magic damage."

Mages like Lux: Veigar.... Veigar support, Veigar mid. Why? I'm not saying that he should not play these roles, but god is he something else. Like Lux veigar is generally countered by Yasuo, and otherwise late game tanks, however early game, he is the 2nd most annoying yordle. This is mostly due to that Ultimate of his which is basically saying "Don't stay low in lane or imma touch you".
