The server change added over 50 ping, and causes constant DC's when before I was sitting at a pretty 68 ping. Now I can't play the game at all. Is messing things up the only thing you fucks can do?

Except it is. League is the only game I constantly DC on, and it only happened after the server move. I can play literally any other game with a decent ping.

Hawaii's ping only went up by 20. They have several $500m subterranean cables directly connecting them with the mainland US (as well as Asia).

Alaska doesn't really have that kind of infrastructure, so they were fucked over.

68 + 50 = 118. Let's say you instead got 90 extra ping. That's still 158, which is what I played at and I've reached Silver I, higher than your Silver V (playing every role, including ADCs!). I'm fairly sure the ping at least is playable. The constant DCs are an issue you should report in the Chicago Connection support thread. They're working on it, I'm fairly sure.

bitch, my friend in italy is silver 3 and plays with at LEAST 250 ping sometimes spiking to 700

There's a couple hundred million people on the east coast. There's a couple million between those two states. Seems pretty straghtforward.

I went from 180-240 can't really tell the difference, its really not much at all

Back in my day 300+ ping was the norm back on the dial ups. You kids have no idea
