7 wins and 3 losses, put to Bronze V???

what rank were you in last season? your typically placed a rank back, so if you were like silver 5 or below you would end up in a place near or most likely at bronze 5, gold 5 would be at silver 5. atleast im pretty sure thats how i heard it worked.

What happened?

You were bronze last season and it is a soft reset.

You were bronze previously so that's where you start. Just cause you win more in one season vs the last, doesn't mean it's gonna give you a pass to a different tier.

You could've won 10/10 and would've been placed higher.

I had the exact same thing happen. Once I start playing league again after the crazy Christmas work hours are over, it's no big deal; I've been playing better and can carry a good chunk of games as long as I play smart.

Funny story, I was one game out of bronze all together, than the new season started, and even tho I win 7 games and carried 9, I was still placed B5.
