Okay so finally started ranked and that place me iron 3 for the first game and I know they put me in the lowest they think i can be in. Won 2 games lost most of the rest so far and now pushed up to Iron 2. Thing is I'm doing well in my games but losing. Don't want to fully blame the team but my lane is winning and others aren't and keep dying and end in a loss as most games go. Does this mean just because I couldn't "win" I'm just going to be stuck in iron 2? Even though its no exactly my fault other lanes are losing. I'll roam and help out but I'd like to hope they can take in the performance rather then just a win to place me in a rank other then Iron.

So if someone can just explain to me how the first 10 games actually work it be great.

don't think of the ladder as a physical ladder you don't take a step and exert some energy and take another step and after a few steps you are the top think of the ladder as a grind in an MMO the more you play the stronger you get as long as you don't die then you stagnate thats calling getting stuck playing at your peak level unless you decide to figure out why you are dying and start preventing it and thne you level up again and the process repeats

im using dying as a metaphor here i don't mean you have to be a kda player to win games or you can't win by being 0/5/0 hell TSM broken blade proved it by being 0/4/0 in a competitive game and winning due to his pressure

it doesn't mean you are stuck but it does mean you are going to have to play a few hundred more games to see progress in your ability to 1v9

oh and please don't expect anything from your teams until diamond you will lose your mind if you do

It is your fault. No one game is your fault, but over the course of time, your average win/loss is going to be very much dictated by your play.

The thing you're seeing has been the same story as every new player since the game started. OTHER people fed, not me. Other people are the reason we lost....

The thing is, 4 out of 5 people on your team ARE NOT YOU. Therefore, 4 out of 5 people who feed are not going to be you. Four out of 5 times it's not a glaring feeding issue on your part.

But 1 out of 5 times, IT IS YOU, and you are not carrying the other games either.

That's why it feels like it's not you, but really you are the same skill level as the rest of these people around you.

I could get out of iron if i played with my toes, and the time will come when it will be the same for you. Just enjoy the game and try to improve.
