Matching is too unbalanced MMR wise

Isn't the matching these days too unbalanced? I mean we have unranked matched with plats and gold faced against diamonds. I know that the matching system is made so that it would be balanced better, but isn't the MMR between players too off? I mean the MMR difference is large enough to a point where we don't even have a chance of winning the game since the lane advantages are too big to be covered by the group fights. I strongly would like some reworks or reviews on the current matching system. -Thank you

Yeah I notice that pretty often. Instead of maybe a bunch of close games I frequently see stomp games where one team has 3 times the amount of kills as the other. And its not even rare it happens a lot to me on both teams. And the ranks on both teams are so uneven that its not even a fair game from the start. When you are a silver vs Plats you are just severely outskilled and sometimes its good to play much better players than you but the frequency either on my team or the other has a stomp is way too high.

Normals mmr and ranked mmr are independent of each other. So them being diamond in ranked doesn't mean anything in normals.

Riot does not believe that normals matter. If golds are pitted against plats, the result does not matter because only ranked play counts. They just spit on the gold players like this

This isn't true the only difference is that in normals you are matched using your normals MMR not your ranked MMR which could potentially be a lot different.
