Is MMR affected by Normals? According to OP.GG I think it is.

So I was wondering if Normal Games affected your MMR.

"No, they won't Andicus" right? Well that's what I thought too. Recently, in the past few weeks I started grinding a TON of ranked games because I held off on doing it until now for some reason. So I checked my MMR on Op.GG alot. At one point i got to 1600 MMR. (Gold 3 mmr according to op.gg) and was like "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WAOxKOmR90"

Then today I played some normals with still around 1590 mmr because I got Gold V finally (on 11/11 too xD right before season ended) and was done with ranked.

After playing a few games I checked my MMR to see if it was affected by my bad games that I just had. It dropped to 1470. I never had MMR as low as this, (well maybe at one point I did but the past few weeks when i grinded ranked I didn't. it was always 1550+) and was like "you WOT m8"

So now i'm afraid if I go backed to ranked for whatever reason right now, i'll get placed with silver 2/3's which I really, REALLY don't want. I had my fair share of silver games ^^. Also worried that this'll affect my MMR for next season's ranked :(

So I'm wondering if normals really DO affect your MMR or if my MMR went down because I didn't play ranked recently? What is going on, does anyone know?
