Possibly, the Matchmaking solution we've all be looking for

I happen to have a pretty decent idea. I'll keep it fairly short and sweet.

I think that many of us are in agreement about matchmaking, when it comes to ranked, and normals, and how unbalanced it can sometimes be.

For example, over the last few days, if I think back, I noticed that when I'd do well in a game, I'd get put against very strong team mates, for the next few games. My biggest problem, is that the game would end up matching me with incredibly terrible team mates, that literally got half as much cs as me, and couldn't even come close to holding their lane. Consistently, I'd look at the enemy team, and they were getting the same cs as me across the board, and EVEN if I won my lane, every game basically failed because the rest of the team got snowballed before we even got to level 6.

It seemed to slowly but surely balance itself out, when one of the enemy players invited me because he thought I was good, and he wanted to play with me. We queued up, and although we lost, we decimated our lane. Again, the team mates of the rest of our team were completely horrendous.

However, the next game, I did better. We won, and I seemed to have decent team mates.

Moving to the last game I played.

I squashed the enemy team 31/0.

I was literally, beyond understanding at how this works. All I could say, as the match was over, was.. "wtf". I'm good, but I'm nowhere near that good.

I have a suggestion for matchmaking riot.

Create an environment where people play against and WITH their own strength, by...

*taking into account kills. *taking into account assists. *taking into account deaths. *taking into account gold score *taking into account CS score

Lets put things in perspective and counteract the argument about league being a team game thats why kills dont count.

Okay. Lets think about this. Kills do count. If you're an ADC. Assists do count, if you're a support. Deaths do count, because it shows exactly how bad you were in comparison to how good you were.

Now. Why do I say base it on assists as well? Assists, shows that they are willing to work as a TEAM. if you have someone with 0 kills, 15 assists, vs someone with 1 kill, 2 assists, and they're support to be support, then they're not joining team fights, and they're not doing their job. Therefore, their skill level is lower.

So lets look at it like this.

Once you start to involve all these ideas, kills, assists, and deaths, and gold score, and CS score, then you start to get an idea of where the player should be put up against.

All I want, is to be put in a game fairly. The bad players should go with bad players, and good players should go with good players. I consistently see that its common that I team mates easily half my strength when I get put against 4 players that are my strength, with one being somewhat okay out of the 5.

Its very simple. The system you have right now,** isn't working.** I think that, in terms of ranked, the player should be rewarded based on his cs, gold, deaths, assists, and kills. While league is a team game, it will NEVER be able to escape the fact that although you need to play as a team to win, even if you play well, you might have NO chance of winning if your team is pathetic. That way, there wont be an elo hell, and if you're A GOOD PLAYER, you will be able to move up to WHERE YOU BELONG. Not face an impossible and frustrating task.

That, my friends, is the definition of unfair. People need to learn that they should not just accept things like this when there IS a better way that WILL work without any flaws.

Think about it. I believe it will bring a giant progression to the matchmaking system, giving everyone, what they want and what they deserve.

Surely, with all the programming knowledge riot has, it cant be a difficult algorithm to create.

Please communicate on this post and try get people to post here. .

If you do, then maybe riot will listen. Maybe, it might be the start of a change that will make league a blissful place to be instead of a frustration that so many people just accept, and bad matchmaking becomes commonplace now days to a point where they just accept it and try ignore it.

you see, K D and assists don't increase as your rank goes up when you have the basics down of CSing, you can have a constant KDA of 5 in gold with good CS, while another player has that same KDA and CS in diamond because he plays against better opponents, there is no way of telling what skill you belong in through KDA.

also, when you are just better than the people in your ELO, you will climb regardless of teammates.

I'd like to point out, that the account I posted from, is a smurf account, and I'm making reference to accounts across the board, having 4 accounts myself now, at different elo levels.
