I just got demoted after my mid laner bought items, walked to lane, then disconnected. Yeah I coulda won other games previously but going into a game, planning on going super try hard, and from minute 1 its a 4v5? Come on riot, you literally have leaver ban, why cant we institute a system where if someone on my team afks that early, I only lose half the LP or something. This is bullshit.

I don't remember if I've ever lost a promotion series where this didn't happen in at least two of my losses.

They just don't give a fuck, that's the problem. This game is more than 10 years old and this problem's been there from the very beginning.
