New Ward Pings

I think we can all agree that taking time away from your lane in order to warn about an enemy ward is annoying, as well as having to tell your support or whoever you would want to ward a certain area. I think Riot should implement a ward ping system to the game to ease communication, for example the "H" hotkey could be used just as the "G" or "V" or whatever you may have it set to to ping for help or caution. Even just add it to the same hotkey we use now but it would just be easy to have a way of telling someone that there's a ward by ping instead of having to write down and take time from your lane.

"Put a green ward here" "Put a pink ward here" "This is warded" "The enemy knows our position" These could be what the pings say (generally).

The wording would have to be different, but that's the gist of what they would say.

I think "use lens here" isn't really needed since saying that an area is warded should be enough for someone to think of sweeping it if they can.

(Just as a way to simplify commands)

I'd probably use warded and mia pings together, since mia is a question mark. I tend to try and combine pings a little bit to give a better idea of what's going on.

That's also a good idea. I do like the idea of being able to ask for green or pink wards, though.

I upgrade my trinket EVERY GAME, and am always pestering my friends/whoever I'm playing with, to do the same. Sometimes it works, sometimes they're bronze ;)

I see this suggested quite a lot yet have never seen anything come of it.

There is HUGE support for this to placed in game. I wish riot would respond to some of these wonderful suggestions so that we know our voices are being heard or that the suggestion placed isn't feasible for whaetever reason.

RIOT: We are a player base seeking to improve the game with our suggestions. It would mean a lot if you could acknowledge these every once in a while.

You can't even say "Ward here" or "Ward", especially in bot lane because your lanning budding might think that you are telling them to ward and they either say they don't have any or they run up to ward it. Which then you have to stop and clarify that the enemy warded. You have to say something like "Warded" so give the correct context.

I like the sound of this. As a Support, I still have to constantly remind my ADC of where to ward. They'll usually have the Max amount of Wards, yet they'll forget about them. With this, I think it would make a Support's job much easier.

I'd like to be able to make our own kinda pings. and it will show up like ward pings for example i should be able to put a red question mark and the chat should read however i want In this case it would be "enemies last known position" This differs from mia. Mia means you have neither sight nor clue where they are at the moment.

A green check mark and text "safe to enter for now" Good for when you want to let a carry know they can go there and do what they need to without getting killed for getting near it.

a pink exclamation mark for "place a pink ward here" Self explanatory.

Seriously we can make a lot out of the ping system.

Considering a large portion of the community keeps getting auto chat-restricted by the tribunal bots this actually might be a good idea

another thought: we already have 2 ping buttons. make G use the normal pings and V use the new ward pings. boom, you dont even need a new hotkey :)

oh and just in case someone uses V for normal pings, put in an "invert" option.

They do this in Smite and it's actually quite helpful. They also do something where if an enemy walks into the vision of a ward it'll ping it on the map and make a warning ping noise. If Riot added those two things to this game it would definitely help with map awareness.

Well currently g does the standard ping while v does the "careful" ping. However when you press and hold either of them you get the 4 ping options radial menu. What if you made those only appear on g pings, and v pings came with the ward radial menu?

Holding down Alt+Ctrl opens up a new dial for selecting ward-options.

Green, Pink, enemy warded, One of my wards got cleared

There are two "Be Careful" pings currently available: the Yellow 'V' Ping and the Red '!' Ping. I've never found it necessary to have both. Perhaps one of these could be replaced with a "Ward" Ping...
